There is only one emergency number in Finland. Only call the emergency number if you have an emergency for which you need assistance from the authorities (police, paramedics, firefighters, social services). Your call will be answered with the words “Hätäkeskus - Nödcentralen”. During the call, it is important to listen and to answer questions.
