The Tyks Hospital Services offer comprehensive specialised medical care services to the residents of the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland, but also Satakunta and Vaasa.

The Southwest Finland Emergency Services are responsible for rescue services in the whole county, the 27 westernmost municipalities and the archipelago.

The Emergency services provide urgent care. This includes the care of sudden illnesses, injuries, difficulties with a long-term illness or a decrease in functional capacity which requires immediate assessment and care.
