Substance abuse rehabilitation

The substance abuse services include service coordination, assessment of the need for treatment and rehabilitation, social rehabilitation, nurse's reception, the services of the A-Clinic, detoxification treatment and institutional rehabilitation. The services are primarily organised outside institutions. The institutional care matters are discussed within a multidisciplinary substance and mental health team with the permission of the customer.

The wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland offers this service starting from 1 January 2023.

Requirements

The assessment and plan of the need for substance abuse treatment and/or rehabilitation will be made in the health and social services as multidisciplinary cooperation if necessary.
