Advanced education team in general practice

Advanced education team in general practice is part of Academic health and social services centre.

Advanced education team works together with Turku University Unit of General Practice to co-ordinate and enhance:

  • mandatory 9 month health care center training included in the training of every medical speciality
  • specific training in general medical practice
  • specialist training in general practice

The team also organizes continuing education and supports the research done in the field of general practice.

Co-operation covers the Western Finland collaborative area.
