The goal of the services for the elderly is to enable every older resident in Southwest Finland to stay in their own home for as long as possible relying on home care and support services.
Substance Abuse Services
Päihdepalveluiden tavoitteena on ehkäistä ja vähentää päihteiden ongelmakäyttöä sekä siihen liittyviä sosiaalisia ja terveydellisiä haittoja sekä edistää päihteiden ongelmakäyttäjän ja hänen läheistensä toimintakykyä ja turvallisuutta.
Child Welfare
Kaikilla lapsilla on oikeus turvalliseen ja virikkeelliseen kasvuympäristöön; tasapuoliseen ja monipuoliseen kehittymiseen sekä erityiseen suojeluun ja huolenpitoon. Lastensuojelun tehtävä on lasten oikeuksien turvaaminen ja kasvattajien tukeminen kasvatustehtävässä.

Distribution of TYKS Foundation research grants to a new level in 2024
In 2024, the TYKS Foundation will allocate significantly more money to medical and health sciences research than before. This is enabled by significant donations received by the Foundation.
