Your health care will be provided primarily by Immigrant Health Services, if
- you have come to Finland as a refugee
- you have a residence permit
- your place of residence is Turku
- you have lived in Finland for less than three years.
Register at the Immigrant Services' information desk to become a client. Take your identity card, residence permit decision and tenancy agreement with you. Immigrant Health Services is located in the centre of Turku.
If you have booked an appointment with a doctor or nurse and cannot make it, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible.
For urgent matters, you can also book an appointment on the spot from Monday to Friday from 8.15 to 11.30.
In case of emergency, call the public emergency number 112.
The hospital is open 24 hours a day. People whose illness or injury requires immediate assessment and treatment are treated there.
