Telephone and digital services of the maternity and child health clinic, Turku

Through the maternity and child health clinic’s telephone and digital services, you can book or reschedule an appointment, receive advice, or leave a voicemail to cancel an appointment.

The maternity and child health clinic chat in the Varha app serves clients across the entire Varha region. The clinic's telephone service is available only to clients in Turku.

When you call the maternity and child health clinic services in Turku, your phone number is saved in the callback system and you will receive a return call.

Please note that the maternity and child health clinic does not issue medical certificates for a child's sick leave. If you need a sick leave certificate for your child, please contact your local health station.

If you have moved to Turku from another social and health care region, please visit the open clinic to sign a request form for the transfer of patient records. However, if you are moving within the Varha region, no signed request is needed, as the public health nurse can request the necessary information internally.
